Responsibilities and Professional Activities

 

In 1997, in addition to my University position, I began conducting workshops for the preparation of teacher certification tests.

 

I worked as an Independent Consultant for Region 10 ESC, Region 11 ESC, and several school districts (Castleberry ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Duncanville ISD…). I prepared teachers for the then ExCET tests in English as a Second Language, Spanish and French ExCET, as well as Spanish and French TOPT.

 

When the new TExES tests were implemented, I designed and conducted classes for the preparation of BTLPT and for the Spanish and French LOTE tests. In addition, I prepared teachers for the PPR test.
